Beautiful Strangers | Highland UT

Easter Sunday there were a few people visiting our church and these three ladies just so happened to be some of them.  I leaned over to my mom in Sunday School and said how much I wanted to photograph them. All three of them are young, beautiful, and had a sense of style to them that I just had to capture. I usually talk myself out of asking people if I can photograph them, because that’s creeper status, but my mom encouraged me and helped me introduce myself. Lucky me, they were willing!  Meet, in order of appearance,: Marvelyne, Gabby, and Kennya. Then Mimose, who the girls were visiting, goes to the same church as us. The one of Gabby was taken on my large format, 4×5 camera, and made into an 11×14 fiber print. I used the print for my Photo II print critique. I received a 98/100!

Saturday Mornings | Personal

Our favorite game right now is trying to make each other laugh. The rules are you can’t touch, breath, or spit on the person who is trying not to smile. But other than that, anything goes. Of course at some point we all get crazy and break the rules. These are what Saturday mornings look like in this Reynolds house hold.

Easter Weekend

Kindly ignore the fact that this post is a month late. Easter weekend, my mom had just flown in from Hawaii and we had so much fun with her here. We went to a local Easter egg hunt, which I don’t think was worth it, but you have to experience that at least once, right? Drew won a back pack with a bunch of make up in it and the other two got some candy. I, on the other hand, entered in a mom’s easter egg hung and I snatched a special egg. I won something from a local dermatology office, but I have yet to redeem my prize. After we dyed a ton of eggs. Growing up each of my sisters and I had our own dozen. Much to Kurt’s chagrin, I still keep that tradition alive. So we dyed a total of 4 dozen eggs. One for each of the kids and me.:)Then we had a wonderful Easter Sunday dinner with most of my family.
