Monthly Archives: June 2011I’m SUPER excited about this post! It was my first “unofficial” entire film shoot. I took Drew out, she got to choose what she wore, how I did her hair, and where she wanted the pictures taken. Then I just followed her, not directing her, and captured the moments as they came. Then we bumped into her friend Sydney from school. She was with her dad and brothers fishing. Drew asked if she could fish and… and I’ll let the rest speak for itself. This may be my favorite post to date!
I have been SUPER busy lately! I’m in the middle of editing five portrait sessions from last weekend, I have a Sats test I’ve been studying for, my Drawing 1 class ends tomorrow and I still have 5 sketches to do, we’re having a BYUHawaii get together on Saturday so we’ve been cleaning the house and getting ready for that, and then I have to give lots of love and attention to my family who loves me even though I neglect them. I LOVE being busy and I’m LOVING this time in our lives right now. So here are some pictures of my beautiful kids on my neglected blog. P.S. Poor boy started to swell but we could tell that the impression from the court started to disappear and the overall condition of his forehead was looking better. See for yourself here. Today Kurt took him back in and he got his stitches out! YAY! We were kind of worried because last night Drew and Brody were playing and smacked foreheads. Yeah, I know! It started to bleed again and Kurt noticed an area where it looked like the stitches ripped. But the doc just said, YUP! Kids will do that. Then he took out the stitches and applied medical tape to the wounds just to hold it together for a few days, till the tape comes off on it’s own. Just a few more photos to churn your stomach.
