Personal Work | Honolulu, Hawaii + GIVEAWAY!

In November I was able to go back to Hawaii for an extended weekend to go to my friends wedding.  On Sunday I walked around my mom’s neighbor hood and took some photos of whatever I saw.  I used two types of film 1. Ektar which gives beautiful, bright colors. and 2. E100vs and I cross processed it.  This film produces crazy colors, especially when over exposed and cross processed.  This was a little experiment, I guess you can say.  I love how they turned out and want to share with you in…

More Melanie

These are more pictures from the wedding I second shot with the lovely Meili Ware.  A few days before the wedding we took bridals down in the heart of Salt Lake City.  Melanie, the bride, collects vintage trunks and luggage.  She also set her wedding theme to focus all on families and have a very vintage heritage feel that was both gorgeous and sentimental.  The details and thought she put into her wedding was just amazing!  Stay tuned for more pictures from the actual wedding day!  And again make sure to go check out Meili’s blog!

Second at its best

I had the privilege to second shoot for my friend, Meili, at her very first wedding.  Since I was just the second I was able to play around with my film camera.  Something I do not yet have the alas to do as the main photographer.  Here’s a little sneaky peeky of the beautiful couple on some beautiful film.

But seriously go check out Meili and her gorgeous work!
