Allen Extended family

These photos look like they could’ve been taken yesterday because the weather has been so warm lately. BUT they were taken in the fall and I just didn’t get around to posting them  till now. You might have noticed a few weddings on my blog lately that look warm and sunny.  It’s because it was.  And the events happened in the summer.  So forgive me for being so behind on my posts. I am now all caught up, with the exception of tomorrow’s post.  However the event was in Hawaii so even though it was in the dead of fall, it looks like the middle of summer as well.  So stay around for a while, check out what and who I’ve been photographing for the past few months.  If you’d like to book a session in Southern Utah I’ll be coming down Feb. 10th and 11th. I already have spaces filling up so don’t wait to book a session.  Check out my February Special and I hope to hear from you soon!

Devin – Cedar City UT newborn Photographer

World, I’d like to introduce you to baby Devin.  He is the fourth child and second boy in his beautiful family.  He is such a cute baby and was so easy to photograph.  I absolutely love the photograph with dad’s dirty hands.  It’s such a huge contrast from soft sweet baby head to rough, hard working hands.  You can see another one like it here and actually these babies are … second cousins? First cousins once removed?  Something like that.  They’re related.

Holga – Film Photography

My first roll of film in a LONG time.  All taken on a Holga.

Above: Double exposure, on purpose mind you.

Hatch Family Portraits

I like to meet with my families before I photograph them.  When I met with the Hatch family I knew we were going to have fun but I didn’t know how much of a riot they were going to be!  I can’t believe how much personality can fit in such little girls!

I’m laughing right now, almost two weeks after the shoot, thinking about it!  It was raining and cold but it dampen their spirits.

Hatch family, you guys are so fun!  Thanks for making my job so fun!
