Ramirez Family!

Last year my daughter, Drew and their oldest, Eliana, were on the same soccer team.  That’s how I met this beautiful family.  Then we stayed connected when we found out that their cousin was in Drew’s preschool class.  I love when things like that work out.

We had SO much fun up at Wood’s Ranch for this session.  It was such a gorgeous background with the fall colors although you don’t even notice the foliage when you have these beautiful women in the pictures.  Three girls!  How fun is that?!  And they are as sweet as they are beautiful.  Thank you guys for being so fun to work with!!

I keep saying that I have the best clients and it’s so true!  It’s kind of a let down after the session and prints are delivered, like after opening all your presents on Christmas, because you’re not sure when you’ll meet again.  Especially with the kids, and even more these two kids.  They quickly became my buddies!  Thanks Burt family for being so awesome!

The Burt Family – Sneak Preview

I absolutely love the color, style, and lighting of this entire shoot and cannot wait to share what we’ve created!

Oh, and the Burt Family is pretty awesome too!!

Riley and Alli McMullin!

As the wedding party danced down the aisle everyone was feeling at ease, having fun.  Everyone except for the nervous bride that is.  As we waited for the bride to come down the aisle the music started and stopped a couple of times, all of us thinking it was a glitch caused by the DJ.  Come to find out Alli, the bride, had asked the music to be stopped till she was ready to come down.  After some wise and encouraging words from her future father in law, the man walking her down the aisle, Alli was ready to go.  Alli is from Peru and besides an Aunt and Uncle that drove from California, her family couldn’t be there.  I can only imagine how much she’d want her family there at that moment of nervousness!  But then one quick look around and to see her surrounded by Riley’s family, and to be walking down the aisle with Riley’s dad, you knew she was loved and surrounded by family.

Where did you two meet?  Brian Head Ski Resort.  (Alli went to Riley and asked him what time it was as she was putting away her cell phone)

How did Riley propose? first, in front of his parents (not romantic at all), then he came to my work and surprise me with my awesome ring!!!

What was the most memorable part of the day? two things: my awesome family dancing down the aisle and when Riley danced with me. He is so cute!!

What advice would you give brides-to-be who are reading this and planning their wedding?  Everything is gonna be ok. Just breathe! once you see your future husband you’ll forget everything.

Honeymoon? nope.  Next year!

Anything you want to say to your husband?  I love you muchacho!

A HUGE congratulations to Riley and Alli!  You guys are too cute together for words!
